Happy September, Gem.

I hope you're doing well and soaking in all the progress you've made from your soul work.

Let’s dive in!

Welcome to Season Three: Trusting Her x Shanice

In October 2021, SheIsTreasure began with a simple hope. I wanted to create a space where women could show up exactly as they were, take a breath, and find words that made them feel seen and supported—a space where healing could be discussed honestly, love could be explored in all its beauty and complexity, and every woman could be reminded of the worth she harbored long before she learned how to name it.

Doesn’t that sound magical?

This idea sparked while I was in college, completing a creative writing program that deeply inspired me. Since then, we have shared stories about heartbreak, friendship, purpose, mental wellness, relationships, womanhood, and the seasons that have asked us to begin again. We have sat with difficult questions, celebrated meaningful progress, and found comfort in knowing that none of us has to navigate this journey alone.

With every story, SheIsTreasure has grown into a deeper reflection of the women who gather here.

I love that for us!

Season One, Becoming Her, invited us to meet the women we were growing into. We looked inward, faced parts of ourselves that needed care, and welcomed the changes unfolding within us. Becoming required honesty because growth has a powerful way of revealing what we can no longer bring into the life waiting for us.

Season Two, Embracing Her, brought us closer to the woman who emerged from that growth. We explored what it means to receive ourselves with compassion, honor our healing, strengthen our relationships, and appreciate how far we have come. That season gave us room to stop rushing past our progress and recognize the beauty within every stage of becoming.

Now, we are turning the page together. And thank you so much for being here, Gem! For real. All the website views mean more to me than I’ll ever be able to express; it means community and womanhood.

With that being said, Welcome to Season Three: Trusting Her.

Growth asks us to move beyond recognizing the woman we have become. We have to believe her and trust the discomfort that rises when something no longer feels right. We have to listen when our hearts ask for more care, our bodies ask for rest, or our lives begin pressing against boundaries that once felt sufficient. More importantly, we have to believe in ourselves when an old pattern starts costing more than we are willing to keep paying.

Trust can sound beautiful until it requires a difficult decision. It can mean trusting your voice when everyone around you has an opinion and believing your discernment before you have enough evidence to explain what your spirit already understands. But it can also mean opening your heart after disappointment, honoring your body when it asks for something different, and admitting when the life you once prayed for no longer feels like home.

This season will explore the relationship you have with yourself, including the places where that relationship has been weakened by doubt, fear, disappointment, or years of placing everyone else’s needs before your own.

We will talk about changing boundaries, evolving relationships, emotional wellness, intuition, identity, and the courage required to choose what aligns with the woman you are now. We will hold one another accountable because self-trust asks more of us than comforting words do. We cannot continue dismissing our own feelings and expect confidence to grow. It’s time to stop returning to what drains us while expecting life to feel peaceful. At some point, the wisdom we have gained has to appear in the choices we make.

This kind of accountability can still be tender, sounding like a sister sitting beside you, reminding you that you already know what has been weighing on your heart. Like a best friend asking why you keep making room for something that leaves no room for you, which can be loving and honest at the same time. This is what we are here for!

As exciting as this new chapter feels, I cannot help but smile knowing that we are still getting started. More stories are waiting to be told, more conversations ready to unfold, and more women searching for a place where they can exhale without having to explain why they are tired.

If you have been here since the beginning, thank you for growing with us. You have watched this space evolve through every season, and your presence has helped give it life. And if you are joining us for the first time, welcome home.

Pull up a seat and take what your heart needs from these pages. There is room for you here, always.

Our mission at SheIsTreasure remains to inspire and reinforce women’s intrinsic worth across every facet of their lives. Within this sacred space for women’s empowerment, our blogs explore love, relationships, mental health, self-worth, purpose, healing, and the experiences that shape who we become. Wherever life has found you today, I hope this season brings you closer to your own voice. I hope it encourages you to honor what you feel, recognize what you need, and make choices that reflect the wisdom you have gathered along the way.

Settle in, Gem, and give yourself time to absorb what speaks to you. Reflect honestly, share what finds a home in your heart, and remain open to meeting yourself more deeply.

We are here to remind you that you are an invaluable treasure. ♡

With love,
